Have you checked out the ReadWriteThink website? It is administered jointly by the International Reading Association and the National Council of Teachers of English with support from the Verizon Foundation. This link http://www.readwritethink.org/lessons/index.asp?grade=0&strand=0&engagement=0&sort=3 will take you to a page of lesson plans which can be sorted by Title, Grade, or Date. There are countless topics from which to chose; you will want to make sure that the lessons are appropriate for adults.
